I have a specific turn on a local trail that does just this almost everytime. It's a tiny creek runoff through a corner. It always splashes my rearward foot. Maybe it splashes more than my toe but not much. I end up with one foot with a wet toes. Not an issue at all in the summer since it's hot here. My winter cycling boots are waterproof and mid tops so fine there too. Sometimes the shoulder seasons I end up with one freezing foot by the end of the ride. Common maybe not but definitely not never.

My cellphone dying on a ride doesn't ruin my ride. Well at least if I know where I am or where I'm going. If I don't know where I'm going the ride just becomes an adventure.

I'm skeptical people are actually moving post between bikes. Do people own multiple bikes with the same actual seat tube angles? If not the saddle angle will change.

Revenue Round Up: It's Not All Negative with Revenue Increases for Some in Q3

Rapha is owned by two of the Walton grandchildren. I'm pretty sure they can afford to lose a couple million a year in perpetuity. Cycling is a hobby to them not necessarily their breadwinning. They did build the "mountain bike capital" to make money.
