My Answer: Because I like them and they work well for where I ride. Also if I'm not worried about the extra $30 I spend on a tire, why are you?

@justinfoil: Yes, I've tried Specialized, Continental and WTB. I came back to Maxxis because the assegai works better than any of those other ones FOR ME. I'm not trying to convert anyone to anything. I'm just confused why this comment section sometimes has such a hate boner for what people buy. It's not the only option, you're all free to buy something else.
