The New iPhone 14 Has Emergency SOS via Satellite
@Sethsg: Where I'm really excited is that we're already seeing other companies trying to push into the phone-to-satellite market. T-Mobile in the U.S. beat Apple to the punch by announcing a partnership with SpaceX. It sounds like this option will be available to most phones on T-Mobile, not just iPhones. I'm hopeful this competition will drive down prices and increase coverage. That would only be a positive for those of us who regularly venture outside of regular cell reception!

Field Test: 2022 Fezzari La Sal Peak - The Purple Trail Eater
@bishopsmike: In line with jdejace's point, this was more about me being realistic about what I can and cannot feel between different bikes. I don't review bikes for a living and we haven't been able to do real test rides for years because of the 'rona. So I'm not sure I would be able to tell much difference between the ride qualities of any two decent bikes with similar geometry. But I sure as hell can tell the difference between one bottle and three bottles when I'm two hours into a ride on a 95 degrees day!

Field Test: 2022 Fezzari La Sal Peak - The Purple Trail Eater
I own two Fezzaris - the previous generation La Sal and the Delano. The biggest selling point for me with both frames is the ability to carry two bottles inside the main triangle and a third underneath the downtube. I don't love the high top tube of my La Sal and had considered upgrading when rumors of a new model started floating around. But now it looks like you'll have to pry both frames from my cold, dead hands. I drink a LOT of water and can't imagine going back to wearing a pack.

Video: Racing the EWS from a Van - Tom's €20 Challenge
I can't think of a higher compliment for this content than that in this personal age of micro-attention spans, I watched the entire video. Keep it up, Tom and the PB crew!

Manitou Mezzer Pro 29 170mm / 44os

$600 USD
I am selling a 2021 Manitou Mezzer Pro 29. The fork is currently set to 170mm but will come with the spacers you need to adjust the travel for anything from 150mm to 180mm. The fork will be shipped in the original box with the OEM fender. The fork is in excellent condition. There is a small blemish on one stanchion that I've captured in the final photo here. I can't feel the blemish when I run my fingertip over it, but it doesn't polish out when rubbed by a rag so it's there for good. It has about 20 hours of riding on it as it's part of a quiver of multiple bikes and multiple forks. Steerer is cut to just a hair over 7.5 inches (190mm). Price includes shipping and fees.

Video: Friday Fails #227
0:50 lost the will to ride halfway through the jump. Maybe he went preemptively unconscious *before* the concussion?

Review: Granite Hides a Tiny Socket Wrench in Your Steerer Tube
Here's an alternative for those in the U.S. looking for a more cost-effective solution. I'm using the version with a chain tool on both Shimano and RaceFace boost cranks. This is the best deal on a stashable tool that I was I was able to find. The magnet is rock solid. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08T8C55L4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
