I'm also a bit lost with this offset question. Coming from BMX I only know Odyssey offers the opposite i.e. The R32 fork with 32mm offset is standard. This would be what most dirt riders would use. Then a shorter 25mm that seems to be what park and street riders use as it's more nimble.
