Randoms Round 5 - Crankworx Whistler 2024
Ran into a kid on a bottle rocket at some local jumps... Such a great bike. The DK is fire.

Knolly Announces New 190mm Delirium
Beautiful and cool, but stack is still short. Queue classic discussion about reach, stack and headset spacers... I'd just prefer to see the stack built in. Not a deal breaker and no hate... I've got 5000+ miles on my Fugitive.

Win it Wednesday - Enter to Win a Shimano Shoe & Pedal Combo
It just kills me most of their current lineup no longer offers size 50s; I was president of the Sasquatches in Shimano Shoe Society, but going to be hard to stay there in a few years when my ME7s give out.

First Ride: Ibis Ripmo - Now With Downtube Storage & Mixed Wheel Compatibility
@noapathy: I love my new Mezzer, but it was DRY out of the box. First couple hours felt good, then whatever sprinkle of oil was in the lowers dried out and the wiper steals started squeaking. Quick refresh and it's back to butter and quiet.

Jolanda Neff Will Not Be Racing the Paris Olympics
I came to post something similar - amazing that she could compete at such an elite level and have something like this develop. I wonder if it's a product of the stress performing at that level causes the body - an injury, basically.

First Ride: The Wolf Tooth Resolve V2 is the Longest Dropper Post on the Market
Hit tip for wives, maintain your posts, they'll appreciate it, especially if you're getting on in years and your return speed isn't what it was.

@briain: oof, mine is DEFINITELY better than the reverb I had in the long long ago. You hit the nail on the head, well made but just doesn't work that well. I'm not too keen to put another chunk of money into mine for this upgrade kit... Probably just keep riding and servicing it until it gives up (which may be never).

Interesting... I am honestly a little disappointed in my Resolve. A year, 2000 miles and a full rebuild later... It's solid, but compared to my bikeyoke revives, it has more play and feels stickier/slower. Great build quality and the complete serviceability really is nice, but in use... Bikeyoke has it beat.

Jessie-May's Randoms Part 2 - Eurobike 2024
I was hoping for some wider Continentals before some smaller diameter Continentals... one ride on my new Kryptotal pair, they're pretty sweet. Still figuring out the corner knobs, but the drive off the rear on ugly climbs is like a cheat switch vs, the worn out Dissector it replaced. SQLabs gonna market, but their stuff is a game changer for my butt and hands. Slopeduro is a funny way to say Freeride, but I'm interested... it seems like the goof 150-160mm bikes are gone; it's faster trail bikes at a little less travel, faster enduro bikes at a little more, or true park bike monster trucks. I miss the days of pedaling slowly through the woods, feature to feature, to scare myself. I still do it, but I just miss my old Big Hit.
