The British Enduro Champs Will be the PMBA Enduro Series Final Race
@pmbaenduro: 100% agree with everything you've said here and I know that the people who I am talking about all do too. Many of them have decided to do the British series this year but there is a big gap in the natural progression from local to UK wide racing. I personally am not in a position to nip down to Wales or over to the IoM for a race weekend. It's just such an obvious tier of racing that is missing.

@pmbaenduro: I don't blame you for not wanting to get involved. Apologies for using your sad announcement as a soapbox. I don't have the time and resources to do any real investigative journalism myself so throwing a metaphorical cat amongst the pigeon's on here seemed like a reasonable way to try and elicit some answers from somebody. Hopefully someone, somewhere has the time, skills and power to try and get some real answers. I too, am looking forward to champs this year but next year's calendar is starting to look pretty sparce already.

@pmbaenduro: I'm not implying a conspiracy! Before i continue let me caveat this responce to say I am a mid-pack vet category racer with zero industry contact. It would seem that despite the fact that the SES was organised largely by the same people who are/were the EWS/EDR team, they have allowed a feeder series from their home nation to fritter away and die. Perhaps it is worth at least an announcement such as your own. If I'm wrong, I'd love to be corrected and I know a lot of other (more talented) racers who also feel the same.

Sad news indeed. Interesting to see that the demise of the British series warrants a long and detailed article (admittedly mostly a press release) however the Scottish series has vanished without so much as a puff of media attention anywhere...
