We have been using the Taila shorts for the past couple of months now and we have to admit we are impressed with them. Of course we used them for riding, but also for grocery shopping and yoga as they are more comfortable and resistant than yoga pants - and there are no worries about them being see-through. The double-weaved fabric is a little warm for summer rides but will be appreciated in the fall and winter, as well as on rainy days, for their extra warmth. You won't risk any twat gap while wearing these shorts with kneepads, they cover the entire length of your upper leg even while seated or sprinting, yet they are not so long as to get caught on your bike. These shorts are no low risers, nor do they look like 70's high-waist pants, instead they sit nicely on your hips. They come up slightly large, but you can easily adjust them with the velcro straps on the sides to get the perfect fit. Zimtstern put a lot of emphasis on the quality of their products and they don't disappoint - these are, without question, some of the best-made riding shorts we have worn - the quality of stitching and finish is top drawer and they are showing no sign of the abuse we have put them through. While some people may be sceptical of a retail price that leaves little change from 100 Euros, we would argue that the quality of these shorts justifies their pricetag and we'd expect these to still be going strong when cheaper alternatives are falling apart on you. When we featured Zimtstern during Eurobike, in the comments we saw people put off by some of Zimtsterns more outrageous colours, and our preferences are also on the more subdued side, but in grey these look really good and have quickly become some of our favourite riding shorts. - Mary Moncorge |

There should be a standardized reviewers format. How tall are you, what are your measurements, what is your regular clothing size, what size in this brand are you wearing?
Just a bitchy comment from a fashionista who loves riding bikes. I also like new gear and like most I am stuck buying online.
