Excellent balance of sick riding with great levels of "subtle" irony. It made my morning, and is the first "rewatch" video I have seen since... Brendog & Pierron video
@roma258: Gen X'ers have always been the boomers of MTB. They still love slayer, jean shorts, 26" wheels and only ride Intense M16s, with Chris King everything. lol.
Definitely not a Slayer lover, but yeah, sick video if you mute it :p Maybe I'm just old, I don't get the today's so-called hip-hop, I struggle to call it "music"
Pinkbike: Friday: We don't have all the details worked out, but it will end up being new guidelines that include: • bans for overtly sexist, racist, bigoted, etc. comments.
Monday: “must watch video” with misogynistic lyrics and repeated N word
I’m guessing this comment and your account will be deleted by the end of the day for trying to hold them to the same standard that they are trying to hold everyone else to.
@superxavi: I don't think you're too far in the weeds though I disagree with you (ok, maybe we are both in the weeds now). I completely understand the cultural (and accepted) difference between who gets to use certain words. And, I am probably a complete outlier here, but words have meaning. If we decided that the use of a certain word is hateful and evil, it shouldn't matter who utters it. It is either evil and wrong or its not. I vote evil and wrong. I imagine most will disagree with me on this and that's ok too.
PS: I'm that guy that understands the difference (and is simultaneously driven nuts) when my friends and teenagers say, "literally" and don't mean literally at all. I was recently made aware that the definition itself was changed to additionally mean figuratively. So, I get it...I'm not personally offended...and it still bugs...
I muted it after: "I just woke up on your bitch, I pick 'em eeny, miny, moe." That's like playing machine gun chatter in the ears of a war veteran. I mean fine go for it but you're not getting my support.
Sickness! Both the riding and the track are next level, I like the camera angles + the music and the non-riding parts add a certain vibe that prevents it from being "just another sick mtb edit".
not to be a pedantic PC jerk (or an american narcissist) here but given the current state of race relations in the US and world abroad..... I am surprised that the commencal media folks not ask themselves one simple question:
" Is now a good time to drop a media piece that epitomizes appropriation at minimum, and otherwise flaunts access to a privileged sport by white people, who are simultaneously normalizing use of the N word?"
I just asked myself that same question.... it is not a good time to do that.
I love Commencal bikes and the company as a whole. The bikes are awesome, the rider´s are awesome, and the quality of their service is also up there with them!
Great riding, editing and overall killer style! Although after the post about offensive dialogue in the comment section and even though I have no issue with this song what they are saying in their rap would have a lot of members comments pulled if even one off two words from this song were said in a comment. No?
Thugged out riding right there. Is that a category yet? Riding insane, love them dudes. Music was horrendous. Should of asked Lemoine for one of his bangers. There's not a French hip hop song worse than that I'm sure.
Please the same without car or gas station parts and raw sound. Why wasting so sick and stylish riding with sh.t music (it was the same pb in "Furious", edited with horrible music on the Frix Frix section)?
f*ck your BMW, I've a horse outside

That huge off camber landing was insane.
Location???

Such sick riding, but @brianpark, good grief...

If it wasn’t for a double standard, then there would be no standard. And I’m not talking about BB dimensions.
Jokes aside, frixfrix is my favourite rider to watch. Slaying his bike with style, effortless and stylish, yet brutal and on point.
Two of the hardest shredding dudes out there.
Needs guitars though, haha!! :-)
