Simon Stevenson National Champ for the Second year!

Jul 16, 2008
by Tyler Maine
This past weekend was the Canadian Downhill Nationals at Mount Saint Anne in Quebec. The weather all week was really friendly and I think gave a bit of a false sense on niceness to the course. But as Mother Nature would have her way, the clouds rolled in and the water came down for Sunday's finals.

We're super stoked to say that our own Simon Stevenson won the Men's Master Expert category (for the second year in a row), while Danice Uyesugi took 4th in Women's Elite.Danice and Simon will have a full Nationals experience update for all you readers in the coming days as they've been traveling back from Quebec and are just now getting their pictures online. Also congrats to Andrew Mitchell for his win in the Men's elite category.

Congrats to Simon, but odd there isn't hardly a mention of Andrew Mitchell, elite men's champ... or is that because he doesn't ride for Pinkbike?

We do give acknowledgment to Andrew for winning the Men's category. 3rd paragraph. And yes we are very proud of our two rider's accomplishments.
