We're getting later and later into the World Cup season, and for the most part it feels like people's setups have stabilized for the year. There's still no lack of interesting tech around the pits, but Les Gets feels more like a showcase of World Cup culture more than anything else. In the name of diversity, here's a bit of everything.

Speedy jawn. This looks like a higher volume version of their Tracer Pro cyclocross tire - though it could just be the 700x47 looking fat on a wider rim.

These photo-articles are amazing a mix of lifestyle of the place, new products, track conditions and other crazy and good things out of the bike world that maybe if we be there we will let them go unseen.
The original Specialized Captain used to be my favourite XC front tyre (with a Fast Trak as a rear). I see the tread bears some similarity, although the sideknobs look much smaller on the new one. The original, designed by Ned Overend, was supposed to be a fast trail tyre and came stock on bikes like the Camber. The compound was useless in the wet, but the tread design worked very well for the intended purpose. I guess it would be called a "douncountry" model these days.
Bike components are too light to worry about unsprung mass. If you take a shock apart, and hold either end in each hand, they are similar. Do the same with a DH fork.
The mystery generator tent will likely be connected with the next doping scandal. Calling it now, and wouldn't be surprised if they find traces of Adamantium.
Every bump or corner - the car felt (and probably looked) like this: gomotors.net/pics/Citroen/citroen-2cv-6-01.jpg

stem cap yet?
Great photos, want the Citreon
We want he unsprung mass to be as low as possible but they put the shaft side on the frame?
Why do they do that?
