Summer rolls on, and Netflix is doing its best to keep you inside with a slate of new programming that will hit just about every subscriber in their sweet spot. We've got reality hits like Love Is Blind, classic shows like Lost, and the wide variety of international content you've come to expect. But scrolling through Netflix's endless offerings can be exhausting, which is why we picked out the must-watch new stuff this month. Here's our guide to the hottest new content on the streaming service in July.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (July 3)

Has it really been 40 years since Eddie Murphy's breakthrough action-comedy Beverly Hills Cop? That hurts to think about. Axel Foley returns to the mean streets of Los Angeles in a new caper when his daughter's life is on the line. He pairs with her ex and returning characters from the first two movies for the car crashing, wise-cracking shenanigans we know and love. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F might be the dumb blockbuster your summer needs right now.

Exploding Kittens (July 12)

The popular card game from the creator of The Oatmeal becomes... a Netflix series? Huh. Exploding Kittens stars Tom Ellis as God, who abdicates his Heavenly duties and is cast down to Earth in the body of a housecat. Now he has to help his adoptive family and contend with the cat next door, who just happens to be the Antichrist. You know, regular stuff.

Cobra Kai: Season 6 (July 18)

The unlikely Karate Kid spin-off show is entering its final season this summer, with series villain Kreese on the lam, Cobra Kai finally shut down, and a new tournament on the horizon for our new generation of martial artists. The sixth season of Cobra Kai drops in three installments, with the first batch in July, the second in November, and the third in 2025.

The Decameron (July 25)

"Based on the 14th century short stories by Giovanni Boccaccio" might not be the most headline-grabbing tagline, but The Decameron is one of the sauciest literary works of its time. A group of Italian nobles flee plague-infested cities to a villa in Tuscany, and when safety becomes dull, they turn to increasing debauchery to stay amused.
