President Biden just proved that he knows exactly what he’s doing

There have been endless panicked calls over the past week for President Joe Biden to go out and do wall to wall interviews in order to push back as “aggressively” as possible against the media narrative that he’s feeble and in trouble. But that’s rarely the smart play. Instead Biden decided to pick his spots, and it worked.

Biden knew that his first post-debate interview would be nothing but stupid questions about his cognitive abilities. So he chose to do that interview on a Friday night, when the public wasn’t paying attention, in order to get it out of the way. It also kept the media from being able to spend the weekend claiming that he was afraid to do any interviews.

Then first thing this morning Biden went live on MSNBC and allowed viewers to be reminded of who he actually is. This immediately pulled the plug on MSNBC’s ability to spend all day today claiming Biden is feeble, like we all know they were going to do. It’s hard to lie to your audience about the condition of someone who was just on your airwaves that morning.

It’s all a reminder that Biden knows exactly what he’s doing. If he’d followed the panicked advice being tossed around online and done fifty interviews over the past week, the media would have taken his occasional stutters out of context and falsely painted him as senile. Instead Biden picked his spots and has done a lot to take away the media’s ability to keep this fake scandal going. Perhaps now the media will notice that Donald Trump has been in hiding for ten days.
