How do I create an email address?
To create an email address, choose the email solution that best suits your needs from our range. You can manage and create your email addresses from your Control Panel. You must already have a domain name. Add a domain name to link to your email account. This domain name can be registered with OVHcloud and appear in your Control Panel, or you can link to a domain name that is not managed by your OVHcloud account if you are able to modify the configuration of its DNS zone. Depending on the plan you have chosen, you can then create your custom email addresses with your domain name and start using them.
How do I create a free email address?
You can create email addresses for free. However, you need to have a web hosting plan. All of our web hosting plans include multiple email accounts, so you can create multiple custom addresses that end in your domain name. This is free for the first year with certain extensions. You can create and configure your email addresses directly from your Control Panel. For business use, we recommend our Email Pro or Exchange solutions.
How do I manage my company's email addresses?
You can easily manage and configure your company’s email addresses from your Control Panel. You can manage your email accounts, order new ones or delete them depending on your business lifecycle. You can use your business emails with the Outlook Web Application (OWA) we provide. You can also choose to use an Outlook or Microsoft 365 licence. You can purchase a licence from your Control Panel or on our website.
In your Control Panel, you can also configure the collaboration features of your Microsoft Exchange professional email solution, including meeting rooms, devices, and groups.
How do I host an email address on a server?
To host an email address on a server, simply choose one of our professional email offers from our range of web hosting plans. The email accounts created are hosted on our servers in our own datacentres. Depending on the plan you have chosen, select your email accounts to be hosted on shared, private or dedicated servers.
How do I store emails?
Each of our professional email solutions includes storage space allocated to each account for storing emails. For added security, we make daily backups of your data, so you can restore it if you need to. For example, if you deleted items such as emails, contacts, calendar events, or tasks, you can restore them up to 14 days after they were deleted.
