Do I need to buy my VMware licences from OVHcloud?
OVHcloud offers VMware on OVHcloud and SAP HANA on Private Cloud solutions, both of which include VMware licences in their pricing. In the SAP HANA on Bare Metal solution, it is up to the customer to manage the VMware virtualisation layer, including the aspects of purchasing VMware licences.
How do I back up my SAP HANA database with OVHcloud?
At OVHcloud, we offer our OVHcloud Backint Agent for SAP HANA databases, which allows you to natively back up your SAP HANA databases to S3 Object Storage. We also offer the Veeam Enterprise Plus solution, which is SAP HANA-compatible. Finally, if you already have a compatible backup solution, you can also deploy it with OVHcloud.
Which operating system can I use with OVHcloud for my SAP environments?
We offer the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP applications OS image, so you can quickly get a natively optimised OS. You can also import your preferred OS image in Bring Your Own License (BYOL) mode.
Can I purchase my SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP applications OS license from OVHcloud?
It will soon be possible to purchase your SLES OS licence for SAP applications from OVHcloud. Until this service is available, you can use your own OS licences in Bring Your Own Licence (BYOL) mode.
