UPDATED:

Two suspects have been arrested in a shooting in Orlando over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, according to a Monday press release from the Orlando Police Department.

Several armed individuals in an SUV pulled up to a truck and attacked the four people inside Saturday on the 700 block of Oxalis Avenue, OPD said. Two people in the truck, a 45-year-old man and a 4-year-old girl, were shot but are expected to recover. Two other victims were not injured, the agency said.

Police said they have arrested two suspects: 32-year-old Yasmi Lidieth Matamoros-Mendoza, who was apprehended by U.S. Marshals after fleeing to Louisiana, and 39-year-old Marvin Antonio Paguanda Sanchez, who was arrested by officers at the scene.

Matamoros-Mendoza has been charged with four counts of attempted second-degree murder, robbery with a firearm, two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. She originally gave police a fake Mexican passport and ID with a different name, the agency said.

Paguanda Sanchez has been charged with two counts of accessory after the fact and tampering with physical evidence, according to the release.

Police believe the two may have been involved in other robberies and shootings and are asking the public for health in identifying more potential suspects. To share information, contact Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477) or the OPD Violent Crimes Unit at 9-1-1.
