Gosia Wozniacka | The Oregonian/OregonLive

Gosia Wozniacka is an environmental justice reporter. She covers pollution impacts, clean energy and electrification policies, wildfires and extreme heat and the wild world we inhabit. Her goal is to highlight the impacts of legacy pollution and the warming climate on those most vulnerable: low-income communities, people of color, houseless and rural residents. She also watches out for greenwashing and fact-checks climate solutions. Wozniacka rejoined The Oregonian in 2022 after covering environmental issues, immigration policy, food justice, and agriculture for The Associated Press, Civil Eats and other outlets. She previously worked at The Oregonian from 2006-2010 covering immigration and city issues. Wozniacka has received numerous awards for her work. She’s a first-generation immigrant who speaks fluent Polish, Spanish and French in addition to English. She received her master's degree from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
