Ryan has been part of the Social Media team for the Oregonian since 2015 and became the Social Media Editor in 2019. He took over as Photo Editor in early 2020. Prior to that, he worked on the listing desk doing event calendars, the sports desk working on high school sports, and curating the homepage for oregonlive.com. Ryan's duties include a little bit of everything from video editing to photography to social listening and strategy to writing trending posts. He has been a part of several major projects over the years including "Ghosts of Highway 20" and "The Safest Place."
