Members of the Portland Thorns have spent time over the course of the last few weeks watching the Olympic gymnastics trials.
Inspired by the athletic feats, a group of players fashioned a special celebration to be pulled out if, and when, one of their teammates found the back of the net at Providence Park against the visiting San Diego Wave on Friday night.
