The Oregon Ducks start the 2024 season Aug. 31 at home against Idaho. The Oregonian/OregonLive will count down the days with mini-profiles of prominent former and current Ducks whose jersey numbers correspond with the days remaining until the opening kickoff.
Today, No. 54: Offensive linemen Calvin Throckmorton, Jordan Holmes, and Hamani Stevens all won conference titles with the Ducks.

Calvin Throckmorton
Bio: The Ducks recruited Throckmorton out of Newport High School (Bellevue Wash.). He redshirted in 2015 before becoming a four-year starter at Oregon.
Key achievements: Throckmorton made 52 consecutive starts, earned AP first-team All-Pac-12 honors twice (2018, 2019), and allowed just one sack throughout his final 3,224 snaps (45 games). He was part of the Oregon team that won the 2019 Pac-12 title, and went on to defeat Wisconsin in the 2020 Rose Bowl.
Following his senior season, Throckmorton participated in the Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Bowl.
NFL: He signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and appeared in 34 games with 20 starts. Throckmorton spent the 2023 season with Carolina and Tennessee.

Jordan Holmes
Bio: Holmes went to Oregon from Yuba City, Calif., where he was named All-Area player of the year in 2005.
Key achievements: Holmes redshirted as a freshman, provided depth as a redshirt freshman and then saw four starts in his redshirt sophomore year. In 2009, Holmes started 13 games at center and became a team captain. He received honorable mention All-Pac-10 that season.
In 2010, Holmes anchored an offensive line that created a devasting rushing attack fueled by running back LaMichael James. The offense helped the Ducks go 12-0 during the regular season and advance to the BCS National Championship Game.

Hamani Stevens
Bio: The Ducks recruited Stevens out of Hemet High School in California. He redshirted in 2008 before starting a religious mission. He returned to Oregon in 2011 to become a mainstay in a dominant offensive line.
Key achievements: Stevens started every game over his final two seasons. He appeared in 13 in 2013 and then 15 in 2014. That season, the Ducks won the Pac-12 championship and defeated Florida State in the Rose Bowl/college football playoff game.
Oregon ranked third in the country in total offense (547 yards per game) and fourth in scoring offense (45.4 points per game) in 2014.
Stevens played a prominent role along a line that helped quarterback Marcus Mariota claim the 2014 Heisman trophy.
Stevens is one of the program’s five players to record more than 1,000 snaps, and the only one on offense (1,056).
