Oregon ending June with official visits from 6 five-stars, 18 blue chip prospects

Oregon is closing out a month of official visits with its biggest group yet.

Six five-star prospects are among 18 blue chip recruits coming to Eugene this weekend, including defensive backs Trey McNutt, DJ Pickett and Jonah Williams, athlete Michael Terry III and receivers Dakorien Moore and Dallas Wilson, a UO commit, according to a source with knowledge of the matter.

Tight ends Da’Saahn Brame and Kaleb Edwards, offensive linemen Aaron Dunn, Juan Gaston, Alai Kalaniuvalu, athletes Brandon Finney and Keylan Moses, an LSU commit, and edge rusher Justin Hill, all four-stars, are also spending the weekend at UO. Plus other current commits Dierre Hill (running back), Akili Smith Jr. (quarterback), Isaiah Mozee (receiver) and Nasir Wyatt (linebacker).

The top-ranked player to visit Oregon this cycle, Moore is No. 3 overall and the top receiver in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He was previously committed to LSU, where he’s taken an official visit, in addition to Ohio State and Texas. Moore plays at Texas powerhouse Duncanville High, where Oregon running backs coach Ra’Shaad Samples’ father is the coach.

The No. 6 overall prospect in this year’s recruiting class, Pickett has been to Oregon multiple times and would be a third recruit from the Tampa, Florida area to join UO’s class. He’s taken official visits to LSU, Georgia and Miami.

Williams is the No. 10 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He’s taken official visits to USC, Texas A&M and LSU.

The No. 20 overall prospect and top-ranked safety in the class, McNutt is out of Shaker Heights (Ohio) High. He’s taken visits to USC, Florida and Texas A&M.

Currently the top-ranked player in Oregon’s 2025 class, Wilson is No. 24 overall and the No. 5 receiver in the 247Sports Composite. He visited Miami and Florida earlier this month.

Terry is the top-ranked athlete and No. 28 overall prospect in the class. He’s visited Texas and Texas A&M as well as Nebraska.

The No. 72 overall player in the class and No. 7 edge rusher, Hill is a significant target for the Ducks. He’s visited Ohio State, USC and Alabama and set July 3 for his commitment.

The No. 4 tight end in the class, Brame is 6-foot-6 and 235 pounds. He’s visited Ole Miss, LSU, Oklahoma and Tennessee and has set June 29 to announce his commitment.

The No. 8 tight end in the class, Edwards is 6-foot-6 and 225 pounds. The Oak Ridge (Calif.) prospect has visited UCLA, Washington and Texas.

The 6-foot-7, 345-pound Gaston is ranked No. 159 overall and No. 16 among offensive tackles in the class. Out of Atlanta’s Westlake High, Gaston visited Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Kalaniuvalu is No. 188 overall and No. 10 among interior offensive linemen. The Bishop Gorman (Nev.) product has had visits to USC, Utah and Michigan among others.

No. 243 overall and No. 25 among offensive tackles, Dunn is one of the top players out of Utah. He’s visited UCLA, BYU. USC and Utah.

Finney is No. 213 overall out of McDonogh School (Maryland). He’s visited Penn State, South Carolina and Ohio State.

No. 251 overall, Moses has been committed to LSU since November. He visited Texas A&M last weekend.

This weekend’s targets will be joined by other current commits in Wyatt (No. 73 overall), Smith (No. 80 overall), Hill (No. 188) and Mozee (No. 231).

Defensive linemen Malik Autry (Auburn commit), Floyd Dawens-Boucard and Hayden Lowe (USC commit) were originally scheduled to visit this weekend but are no longer doing so. The same applies for quarterback Keelon Russell (Alabama commit).

If all of its scheduled visitors attend this weekend, Oregon will have used 33 official visits this month out of the 70 permitted in the recruiting cycle.
