The Oregon Ducks have their first running back commitment from the Class of 2025.

Four-star prospect Dierre Hill out of Althoff Catholic in Belleville, Illinois, announced his commitment to Oregon football on Friday. Hill chose the Ducks over Ole Miss, Illinois, Ohio State and Missouri.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound running back visited Eugene this month. Hill totaled more than 1,700 yards and 26 touchdowns during his junior season of high school.

The Ducks have six other commitments from the Class of 2025 so far: four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt (CA); four-star wide receivers Dallas Wilson (FL), Isaiah Mozee (MO), and Cooper Perry (AZ); four-star quarterback Akili Smith, Jr. (CA); and four-star edge rusher Matthew Johnson (CA).
