M. Scott Carter

M. Scott Carter is a six-generation Oklahoman. A graduate of Northern Oklahoma College and the University of Oklahoma, he is an award-winning journalist and author. Carter writes about Sooner State politics, state policy and government. He is an adjunct professor of journalism at the University of Oklahoma and a member of the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Society of Professional Journalists. Carter has earned state and national awards for his stories. In 2012 he received the Oklahoma Book Award for his first novel. He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Karen, and their children.
