A box truck that ran off the road in Virginia left a trail of smashed cars in its wake Friday morning.

Virginia State Police (VSP) are looking into the crash and said the box truck driver ran off the road and hit multiple parked cars at A One Eagle Auto Sales.

Nobody was hurt, VSP said, and they are still investigating the crash. It did not affect traffic but some of the cars in the lot looked like they might never make it into traffic at all.

Shattered parts were strewn across the parking lot and the box truck severely damaged several vehicles before coming to a stop on its side.

There are not any estimates of damages yet.

According to the owner, 15 or so cars were damaged in the incident.

He said he is still working with insurance and had two customers that were supposed to buy two of the now-damaged cars.

Now, he has to call them and tell them what happened.

The owner said this is the third time an accident has damaged his vehicles.

In addition to vehicle damage, parts of the cement in the parking lot are also damaged.

He also shared that he does not have an estimate on the cost of all of the damage yet.

Police said the truck driver has been charged with failure to maintain a lane.
