Fiery semi-truck crash on Cimarron Turnpike caught on video; no serious injuries

CIMARRON TURNPIKE, OKLA. (KTUL) —

Oklahoma Highway Patrol shared a video of a fiery semi-crash on the Cimarron Turnpike that happened about a week ago.

Video from a semi-truck that was stopped on the shoulder captured the moment another semi crashed into it.

Troopers said the driver fell asleep at the wheel and swerved on the road, hitting the diesel tank and starting a fire.

The truck was hauling alcohol, which troopers said made it difficult to put the fire out.

No serious injuries were reported in the crash, according to OHP.
