Two in custody after reported shootout, one subject found with gunshot wound at Walmart

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Two people are in custody for shooting at each other on July 3.

Police responded to the area near S Bryant Avenue and Southeast 59th Street where several people and a couple of vehicles were reportedly in a shootout.

Soon after, police were called to the Walmart on I-40 and Sooner Road where one of the people involved was found injured.

Makye Williams, 19, had a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery.

Demario Mitchell, 35, was also taken into custody for being involved in the shooting.
