Holdenville police arrest on armed suspect involved in July 5 assault

Michael Calvert was arrested in Wewoka.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Holdenville Police Department (HPD) and the District 22 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force are seeking information on a suspect involved in an assault with a dangerous weapon.

According to the District 22 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a warrant for the arrest of Michael Kelly Calvert was issued on July 5.

The alleged assault occurred on the morning of July 5.

Calvert was last seen on the 1000 block of South Oak fleeing the scene of the crime.

He is approximately 5'11", bald, and has a tattoo from his left shoulder to his left elbow.

If you see Calvert, do not approach and call 9-1-1; he is considered armed and dangerous.
