GRADY COUNTY, OK (KOKH) — There was an explosion earlier Monday which caused a fire at an oil rig in Bradley.
According to responders, there were at least four workers at the rig during the explosion.
The four employees were injured and taken to the hospital.
The second fire occurred after the original fire was hot but reignited due to the heat of the equipment.
There were approximately 10 separate agencies in the initial response and it estimated that the response will last for days to monitor the situation.
An oil rig has caught fire again at around 4:39 p.m. after appearing to be put out.
The rig is located approximately 3 miles southeast of Bradley.
Multiple agencies are responding to this incident.
It has not been confirmed if there are any injuries or what started the fire.
Grady County Fire Department and other volunteer fire departments are responding to an oilfield-related incident in the Bradley area.
