A man is facing an arson charge after Oklahoma City Firefighters responded to three dumpsters on fire in front of a trucking company.

Firefighters responded around midnight to a building near Northwest 3rd and Western where police had been chasing a suspect in the area.

Officials believe he started the fire.

Around 5 a.m., firefighters were called back to the scene because the fire had spread to the industrial building.

Firefighters pried the warehouse garage door off and used a ladder truck to dump water onto the flames.

The materials inside the warehouse made it dangerous for crews to go inside, officials said.

At 6 a.m., firefighters were still battling hotspots.

Firefighters said the suspect had gas cans, lighters, and fuel all over him.

He'd told investigators he just wanted to set something on fire.

He faces one charge for arson.
