Meghan Markle is said to be making eleventh hour attempts to save her famous friendships, including sending a subtle message to Beyoncé in public.

The royal reportedly wore a specific clothing brand while shooting a new Netflix series in Beverly Hills Park last week with the aim of letting the singer know that "they're still friends", according to a celebrity insider. The Duchess of Sussex, 42, was spotted "specifically" wearing a tracksuit from Beyoncé's Ivy Park brand at the shoot.

This apparent tactic comes amid claims that Meghan has been seeking out ways to keep hold of her precious few high profile friendships, as Hollywood's elite have been "distancing themselves" from her and Prince Harry. "Meghan was filming for her new Netflix series and specifically chose to wear Ivy Park to highlight her connection to Beyoncé and send a message that they're still friends, " a source claimed to Heat.

Meghan is slowing losing her famous pals, according to one insider

"With practically every other famous friend distancing themselves from her and Harry, Meghan is understandably worried that their Hollywood network is falling apart, and Bey is the most well known of the few stars who will still associate with her", they suggested. The royal wedding in 2018 saw a host of A-list celebrities in attendance, including the Clooneys and Idris Elba, but the source now claims that Meghan feels like she needs Beyoncé's support to "save the Sussex brand".

Amidst Harry's ongoing feud with his brother, for example, the Beckhams have reportedly sided with the William and Kate. Meghan is "really going for it" to try and save as many of the dwindling celebrity friendships, including trying to befriend Beyoncé's sister, Solange Knowles, as well as Tyler Perry, who is friends with the singer.

According to the source, the royal also invited Beyoncé herself to a July 4 party despite "not having spoken to her in months". She also is said to have contacted the singer's production company, Parkwood Entertainment, regarding a new project.
