King Charles' nephew Peter Phillips has found love again and is dating a NHS nurse, just one month after splitting up with his girlfriend of three years
The royal was seen strolling hand-in-hand with the woman, who has been named as Harriet Sperling, at Badminton over the weekend. The pair looked loved-up as they meandered through the crowds during the horse trials.
Harriet, who is a paediatric nurse and freelance writer, looked effortlessly chic in a pink patterned maxi dress, trainers and shades, while Peter looked relaxed in a pair of cargo shorts, blue and white striped shirt, trainers and baseball cap. The couple enjoyed watching the cross-country horse riding from a sponsor’s tent with Peter’s daughters Savannah, 13, and 12-year-old Isla.
They were also joined at the event by Peter's sister Zara Tindall, 42, and her hubby Mike, 45, however, it is unclear if Harriet has yet met with Peter's mum Princess Anne, his stepdad Sir Tim Laurence or Peter's father Captain Mark Phillips. The pair returned to the the lavish event in Gloucestershire on Sunday, where Peter was seen chatting to Queen Camilla as Harriet, who is in her 40s, looked on.
An onlooker said of the new couple: "They looked completely smitten and he was grinning from ear to ear. He looked like the cat that got the cream and acted without a care in the world. He didn’t seem to mind who saw them together. She looked very happy and relaxed in his company and pleased to be shown off at one of the biggest social events in the equestrian world.
“His love life has certainly taken some very public twists and turns in recent years. But they looked extremely close and seemed like they had known each other for some time. They certainly seemed very happy and appeared to be over any past relationship woes.”
Peter, 46, who is 18th in line to the throne, split from his partner of three years Lindsay Wallace just over three weeks ago. He met the 43 year old through his sister as she was an ex-classmate of Zara at Gordonstoun School in Moray, Scotland. They reconnected at a 2019 reunion and it was revealed they had started dating in March 2021.
Peter introduced Lindsay to his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, at Windsor Castle in January 2022 and the couple also appeared together at Royal Ascot and the Epsom Derby later that year. And last summer, Lindsay was spotted in the Royal Box at Wimbledon alongside Peter and Queen Camilla but the couple parted ways this year, with sources saying the relationship simply "ran its course".
Previously, Peter was married to Canadian Autumn Kelly, 46, who is mum to their two daughters. They announced their engagement in 2007 and wed the following year. But in February 2020 they confirmed they had split and their divorce was finalised in June 2021.
