Meghan Markle and Prince Harry married in a extremely extravagant ceremony at Windsor Castle on 19 May 2018.

However, in the recent hotly anticipated interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that they secretly tied the knot in a back garden ceremony.

Meghan, 39, told the American chat show host that she and Harry had already married but “no-one knows”.

The star explained that it was "just the two of us in our back yard”, and that they were married by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

And to commemorate their very special day, Harry and Meghan decide to add a special momento to their home.

They have their vows framed, and they sit at their £11 million home in Montecito over in the USA, with Meghan telling Oprah the sweet fact.

The incredible ceremony which was watched by millions of people across the globe and saw the couple exchange vows at St George’s Chapel inside Windsor Castle.

However the personal vows they exchanged at their private wedding are the ones framed in the bedroom of their LA home.

Meghan continued: “So, like, the vows that we have framed in our room are just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury."

Prince Harry then jokingly sang: "Just the three of us, just the three of us."

Despite Meghan and Harry’s public wedding appearing to run very smoothly indeed, Meghan did reveal that she and Kate had a run in before the big day.

Meghan, 39, opened up about reports of a rift between herself and the Duchess of Cambridge, also 39, and said the press wanted “a hero and a villain”.

According to these reports, Meghan didn’t agree that the flower girls should wear tights, but Kate, in a bid to follow royal protocol, did.

“It was a hot day and apparently there was a row over whether the bridesmaids should wear tights or not.

"Kate, following protocol, felt that they should. Meghan didn't want them to,” a source told Tatler Magazine.

However, it has since been claimed by a source who spoke to The Telegraph that actually it was about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress not fitting.

This meant more appointments for dress fittings had to be scheduled ahead of the wedding, with the insider saying: “Kate had only just given birth to her third child, Prince Louis, and was feeling quite ­emotional.”

Meghan didn’t reveal any further details about what exactly she and Kate fell out about, only revealing that it was to do with the flower girl dresses.

She added that she “didn’t want to be disparaging to anyone“ but Kate was “upset about something“ over an issue with a flower girl dress.
