Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison gave an update on her wedding plans - revealing she'd finally landed in Puglia, Italy after a "passport debacle" and hospital stay.

The 36-year-old presenter and podcast host is engaged to be married to her fiancé Ercan Ramadan and they're busy pulling together the final arrangements for the big day.

Newcastle-born Vicky, who got engaged in February 2022, posted a set of gorgeous photos to her social media, which were a far cry from her recent hospital selfies. Alongside the set of snaps, she wrote: "After my passport debacle AND my hospital trip, it was starting to look like we just weren't meant to come out to puglia and do our tasting for the wedding!"

She continued: "But, we made it and it did not disappoint.. as you can probably tell from @ercan_ram on about picture 5... (both myself and @everythingorganised told him to pace himself but he just wouldn't listen!!)."

She went on to tell her 5.5million followers that the she and her husband-to-be had been enjoying a "beautiful selection of wines, pastas and a gorgeous refresher of our stunning venue", plus undertaking some filming for their new E4 reality show.

Vicky previously admitted that she wanted to tie the knot in Italy because she “loves pizza and pasta”, and the couple picked out their venue last year.

Last week the reality star worried fans by posting a social media update from hospital, revealing she'd been told her symptoms could be caused by "glandular fever, a big infection and an abscess" in her throat.

She explained: "I woke up on Thursday with a terrible headache, I ignored it & assumed it was because I'd had super long day the day before- anyway it persisted & became a sore throat, razor blade vibes & I got the fever, aches, pains, sore joints etc.

"I tried to get to an emergency doctors appointment but we got stuff in a terrible accident- a journey that should have take an hour took 6 & even though the Dr did his best on the phone he had no real way of knowing what was best.
