Katie Price gushed over her son Harvey as he received a swimming certificate for swimming 30 lengths without stopping.

The TV star posted a photo of her eldest son to her Instagram standing in a pool and holding his certificate for his achievement award. She captioned the photo: “So proud of Harvey getting a certificate for swimming 30 lengths without stopping.”

Her fans all rallied behind Harvey, piling on the congratulatory messages to her Instagram. One said: “Wow. That’s amazing. Well done Harvey. What a star.” Another said: “Oh that’s awesome, well done!” And one more said: “Impressive! Well done Harvey.”

This swimming award is a huge milestone for 22-year-old Harvey who was born with septo-optic dysplasia which rendered him blind and further diagnosed with autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder which causes a range of physical symptoms including height challenges and rapid weight gain, as well as behavioural and learning difficulties.

Katie said she was struggling with making sure that Harvey got the care that he needs since she had to declare bankruptcy in early 2024 and remove Harvey from his private residential college in Cheltenham.

Speaking with her son on her podcast, Katie said: "We're looking for a new college, aren't we?" She added: "I'm having a nightmare at the minute. [...] We were looking for him to stay at his college another year or if not a placement, but [the local authority] haven't accepted it.”

Harvey and his mum have campaigned tirelessly to fight online bullying. They have worked together to petition the government to make online trolling and bullying a criminal offence.

The bill, which is called Harvey’s Law, is still in its early stages and is not yet officially a law, but Katie has not given up on it. The law was created when Harvey was subjected to online abuse for his disability. Katie is also frequently subjected to online harassment and trolling.

It has been a busy few weeks for the Price family, as Katie’s daughter Princess Andre celebrated her 17th birthday at the end of June. Her family celebrated her in style, with her dad Peter Andre posting a celebratory message: "Happy 17th birthday to my beautiful, kind, funny, loving daughter.

“Your diva moments are quite something but I guess it only makes me love you more. Thank you for being you Bista. To the moon and back."

Katie also celebrated her good health after recovering from her 17th boob job which she underwent to reduce her cup size after her previous 16 surgeries made her life more difficult.
