Robbie Williams gave fans a night to remember during his sold-out gig at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on Saturday as he brought out Danny Dyer. The pop icon, 50, was joined by The EastEnders legend and a band of Beefeaters for a lively rendition of Blur's Parklife.

Danny, who had earlier appeared as Robbie's bodyguard in the show's opening film, took on Phil Daniels' spoken word parts in the classic track. The duo were backed by a 44-strong brass band of Beefeaters from the Coldstream and Welsh Guards.

The star was supported backstage by his wife Joanne Mas and their teenage daughter Sunnie Dyer, who proudly watched on from backstage. His doting daughter then posted snaps with her dad from his VIP trailer, including a sweet image of him planting a kiss on her head, as she penned the caption: "Proud."

Angels singer Robbie didn't stop there with the surprises. He also took fans on a trip down memory lane, by revisiting his Take That days. He showcased their first music video for Do What U Like, before sharing his experience of singing lead vocals for the first time on Could It Be Magic.

He then reflected on his infamous weekend at Glastonbury at 1995, where he partied with Oasis' Liam and Noel Gallagher. Robbie paid tribute to Oasis by singing Don't Look Back in Anger and then invited his festival friend, Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes, who had performed earlier on the Great Oak Stage, to join him for a rendition of Alright.

The singer then brought out Danny for the final Britpop track of the segment, joking: "It's the double act you didn't know you needed in your life." He then sang Back For Good, a nod to his 2010 reunion with Take That, before dedicating a song to his family. His wife Ayda Field and their eldest daughter, 11 year old Teddy, were watching from the crowd.

Before performing I Love My Life, he emotionally said: "I've been with my wife for 18 years. I am the man that I am because you have allowed me to grow with you. And Teddy, you were the first of your kind and you absolutely blew my mind. Daddy is super, super proud of you. I'm going to dedicate this next song to Beau, aged four, Coco, aged five, Charlie, aged nine and Teddy, aged 11."

Robbie started his set with a bang, launching straight into Let Me Entertain You as he emerged from a platform below the stage. He then covered Land of 1000 Dances before returning to his own back catalogue with one of his "lesser-known hits" Strong.

The words of the chorus were displayed on the big screens, though they weren't needed by the crowd. He then performed Come Undone. The second half of Robbie's electrifying set had him tossing t-shirts to the crowd during Candy, before belting out hits like Supreme and Millennium.
