Hiroko Nakamura OBITUARY

Hiroko Nakamura passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024, at the age of 98. She was born on October 31, 1925, in Fukuoka, Japan and was a long-time resident of Villa Park, California. She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry after 75 joyful years of marriage. She was deeply loved and adored by her family. Her daughter, Diana Moran and her husband John Keary, her son, Donald Nakamura and his wife Vickie, her daughter, Janice McFarland and her husband Scott, her grandchildren, Amiko Christopher and her husband Kevin, Devin Moran, Jaime McFarland and her husband John Steidle, Ian McFarland, Nathan Nakamura and his sister Angela Beebe, Kyle McFarland and his fianc‚ Emma Noble, her great-grandsons Riley and Aidan Christopher and her great-granddaughter Izumi Steidle. Hiroko’s warmth and openness drew people to her throughout her life. Her greatest joy was being a part of the lives of all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed food, traveling the world, tennis, skiing, spending time with her husband, fishing and hiking near their home in Mammoth and quietly sharing time together sitting on their special garden bench at their home in Villa Park.
