Jonathan Horwitz
Jonathan Horwitz covers local government for the Orange County Register. He previously covered education and politics in the Coachella Valley for the Desert Sun. Jonathan holds his undergraduate and master's degree from the University of Southern California where he was an Annenberg Graduate Fellow. In 2019, he was a Fulbright-García Robles Binational Business grantee and visiting graduate student at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in Mexico City.
When he's not in the newsroom, he's probably in the backcountry. Jonathan hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2023.
