Columnist Cynthia Romanowski holds an MFA in fiction from UC Riverside's low res program in Palm Desert. Her short stories and essays have appeared in The Nervous Breakdown, The Rumpus, Flash Flash Click, MARY: A Journal Of New Writing and on the podcast No Extra Words. She lives in Huntington Beach, where she is also from, and is working on a novel-in-stories titled The Habitual Position Of Being Okay.
