UCLA football coach DeShaun Foster and his coaching staff continue to see the results of their improved recruiting efforts throughout the offseason.

Pittsburg High safety Jadyn Hudson announced his commitment to the Bruins on Saturday afternoon, becoming the 11th player to announce their pledge to the Bruins publicly. He chose UCLA over Tennessee, Ohio State and USC.

Hudson is ranked as a consensus four-star prospect and listed as the second-highest commit of the Bruins’ 2025 class behind Warren quarterback Madden Iamaleava.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety had 53 total tackles (two for a loss), six interceptions four pass deflections and a fumble recovery as a junior in 2023.

Hudson took an unofficial visit to Westwood on April 19 for the Bruins’ Friday Night Lights practice before returning for his official visit on May 13.
