Former President Donald Trump arrived in Newport Beach Saturday afternoon, June 8, for a fundraiser on Harbor Island.

Ahead of the event, several hundred supporters lined Jamboree Road, Bayside Drive and Pacific Coast Highway, some stood for hours to catch a glimpse of Trump’s motorcade. Trump, from behind a closed window, waved at the friendly crowds when he passed through at about 12:40 p.m.

About 400 people attended the event, part of Trump’s three-day fundraising swing through California, where steak, shrimp, rice and ceviche was served, according to one attendee.
