April 5, 2024 I went ahead and tried almond milk because I was out of half-and-half as you could see in the picture almond milk does not froth up very well. I’ve come to notice that any of these machines they don’t do a good job when it comes to almond milk I haven’t tried any of the other ones like oat milkThis one did way better job than the other one, but I usually get a better froth with the handheld one but so far I’m liking itmarch 5, 2024 if you see the video, I bought a different one at first because of the reviews. I was thinking about the Insta pot and after reading more reviews, I switched over to the Insta pot froth. the original one I had had a Teflon coding and it scorched the milk every time.i’ve had the Insta pot froth for about three weeks so I will probably update this review after I’ve had it for several months. I want to see how well it does with oat milk and nondairy milkprosIt’s stainless steel and easy to cleanDishwasher safeDetachable from the heating unitThe brand Insta potconsonly con far it does take like three minutes to heat up the milk. I usually start that first walk away then start my coffee.

 Let me begin...I first purchased the Breville Milk frother because it was America's Test Kitchen top choice. Long story short I returned it in less than 1 month due to the frother stopped making foam, poor quality materials, and sometimes would not even come on. Amazon was great and accepted it back and refunded my full amount. Then my search continued....I just purchased my first Instant Pot Cooker about 1 month ago and knew it was made of great quality. That's why I decided to go with Instant Pot Magic Froth. First, with unwrapping I noticed the high quality of this frother. It is made of high grade Stainless Steel and the bottom was made of the same Stainless Steel quality (not plastic as my 159.99 Breville was). I used it with no manual instructions, yes it's that easy. I put 2 Tablespoons of half and half, a squirt of Torani puremade syrup and 1 packet of stevia. In 1 minute the froth you see in the pictures appeared. Never ever got this with my Breville. It makes enough froth for 1 person and it can make up to enough froth for several cups of latte's or expresso's. It was instantly hot, frothy and very smooth. I would hands down pick this frother over any out there so far. I will say, after use , clean up was a breeze. Also, the frothing whisk is magnetic made of high quality stainless steel with strong BPA free center. Yes, so far so good. Hope this helps someone looking for a high quality reasonable priced heated frother. Temperature of froth was about 160 degrees from my guess on hottest setting, there is lower temperatures you can choose if you want less heat. There are froth settings for thickest of froth also. It beeps when finished, it will go into standby mode after 5 minutes or simply unplug. Wonderful product!!!

After several months of morning cappuccinos, I can say from experience that the timing from cold milk to frothy milk remains around 9 minutes. Tom Petty was right, “the waiting” IS the hardest part.

Sadly, I can also confirm that it’s producing less foam and more hot milk at the same settings than it did at the beginning. Took it from 5 stars to 4.

It’s still a decent heater/frother for the money and clean-up is super easy, which cannot be said of many of the competition. So if you’re OK in getting this started before everything else and you want something super easy to use/clean, this will definitely fit your needs. I still don’t have any regrets in buying it and continue to use it every morning.

I've had this for just about a week now. My previous frother burned out. I like that you're just cleaning a stainless steel cup and plastic lid, rather than the entire unit like the plastic ones.

If you want the most foam and the highest temperature, you need to plan ahead. I timed it this morning because it seemed to take much longer than my previous one. Whole milk from the fridge (which I admit is particularly cold at 34F) took 9 minutes for the cycle to complete. If your fridge isn't as cold, or if you don't want the hottest temperature or don't want the highest foam, it will certainly be less. But my previous unit took roughly half the time under the same conditions/requirements. Then again, it burned itself out within 3 years, and I barely used it. This seems to be a higher build quality. I have no regrets. I'd buy it again without hesitation.

I was conflicted between this model or a capresso but decided to go with this one first as it had a comparable price and could hold 16oz which was more than the capresso model. No regrets!

It's very quiet, it does take 5-10 minutes depending on volume of milk and settings. In my case I use highest heat and no froth for a piping hot mug of hot chocolate. I notice 8oz takes about 5 minutes and 12oz seems to take around 10. Which to me is not a long wait at all, seeing as I can dump everything in and walk away and do other things and come back to a delicious drink. I love that it gets the milk very hot and I can add my cocoa while its spinning with no issue and it's easy to clean. I can't speak to the froth setting because I bought this for it's heating purpose but video reviews I've seen around look promising. I also love how small the product is! Fits perfectly on our coffee station next to my mother's grind&brew coffee maker along with her coffee beans and our 2 mugs!

All in all, a great product for those looking for a small single serve device with easy clean up. Hope my review helps!
