Overview: I found the Eve Light Strip to be a great, easy to use product that illuminates small to medium sized rooms well. It can be controlled and scheduled easily with the Eve and HomeKit apps, which is a plus for iOS users.
Set-up: I was able to connect and set up the device in under five minutes with the help of Apple's HomeKit app. I found that the Eve app had issues when I tried to set it up through there, so I would just go with HomeKit. The adhesive on the back of the strip and the long power cord enable it to be placed high on walls so it can easily light up the whole room.
Performance: I found the light to be very bright and enjoyed the variety of color options. It is important to note that colors other than pure white will appear less bright, but it can illuminate a small space nevertheless. It functions well as a standalone light for a room as well as when paired with floor lamps. The colors are accurate and well saturated, and the HomeKit app makes it easy to control the colors.
Overall, I highly recommend this product for use indoors.
