I have always used the small rubber litter mats which aren't the best at containing all of most of the little bits kicked off of little paws. I love that this one is large and can be trimmed to fit smaller soaces. It can be vacuumed easily as needed and can also be machine washed. I have machine washed mine once already and hung it outside to dry. It came perfectly clean and stayed in like new shape. I'm thinking about buying a 2nd one to rotate when I wash. I definitely recommend this option. My only critique is that I'd love to see some more colors and pattern styles to fit into home decor. Maybe something that looks like a pretty rug.

I foster kittens through the animal shelter and have had dozens of kittens and cats through my house. This litter mat is excellent. It grips really well to the floor so doesn't slide around, whether you're vacuuming or sweeping on/near it or just having little kitties play nearby. I use wood pellet litter which gets quite dusty, but this keeps the spills on the mat and reduces tracking quite well. Also have not had any leaks through to the floor when babies miss the box! Have not had to wash it yet but it looks like it should be fine for machine wash. All in all very satisfied, great for a multi cat home.

I had tested those type of litter mats that 'trap' litter inside, but the problem with those is that it's nearly impossible to get the litter out! These mats are smoother, but have ripples/ridges to help keep litter contained. Much more preferred! It is super easy to vacuum these mats as well as lift them and shake them. No complaints whatsoever and would definitely order again if needed.

I have 2 messy kittens and an elderly cat who sometimes misses the litter tray. What I love most about these mats is how durable they are, but also the fact they're machine washable. I bought 2 so that I always have a clean one to put under the litter tray. I had a plastic mat which was very durable, but all of my efforts to clean that mat, including soaking it in disinfectant wasn't enough to get rid of the smell. These mats are well worth the money.
