Good but a little expensive for what you get.

These truly are easy to remove, they slide out of my hair without pulling my hair or breaking individual strands which means less damage-significantly less (see update below). These are also very stretchy, much more than expected and I love how they disappear when they are in my hair. The only complaint I have is this isn’t stretchy enough to go around your wrist without it being super tight. If I take my hair band out somewhere other than home I usually put it on my wrist so I don’t lose it, with this I can’t because it’s tight which is how I’ve lost the ones I have. These are on the expensive side for what you’re getting.

I changed my rating from 3 to 5 because I am still on the same original package of 8. A nice addition although it may come with a price increase would be change the packaging its cute but not functional, after you use an elastic it will stretch a little (nothing major and still not even close to being able to fit on my 6.5" wrist) so when you try to put the used elastic back in the packaging (to keep up with them) the used elastic falls out so its impossible to keep them all together. To date I have not found anything else similar to this product, when I got my hair cut my stylist commented on how I no longer have any damage from hair ties (like the traditional ones I once used) she thought I wasn't wearing my hair up at all anymore, I then proceeded to tell her about these. She recommended I keep using them and she has now bought them for herself and now recommends to other clients.

I bought it a few times over the years and will continue to do so. I just wish they would make a bigger pack. They are perfect for any color hair, since they are clear. They look small when first opened but then are able to be stretched to fit the hair. I have thick medium coarse hair and can fit them around my hair. They give a nice taught hold.

Ok, so how different can it be? They aren't snag-free but as good as it gets with a hold for my Asian hair. While Scunci No Damage & Kai bands are about the same as far as snagging, BLAX has a way tighter hold, especially for those who do NOT have as much hair. NOTE: BLAX 4mm and 2mm bands are 1.625 inches in diameter (1.5 inch plus 1/8th).

PROs:
*About as snag-free as it gets for a band (snags less than Kai bands, maybe a little bit better than/equal to Scunci No Damage/Goody)
*Best tight hold. Hands-down tighter than Scunci, Goody & Kai.
*Best hold for people with less/thinner hair. Band diameter is ~1.5 inches, significantly smaller than Scunci No Damage, Goody & Kai bands.
*Band stretches out less after use than other brands (Scunci, Goody & Kai). Mine stretch out ~20%.

CONs:
*Can be a little more difficult to tighten your ponytail by pulling strands of your hair given the tightness of the band.
*While the hold does NOT loosen at all during the day, the band does slide down a bit (~1/4 inch after a few hours if you don't tighten your hair).
*Have to order online.

I love these elastics. The matte texture makes then nearly invisible. I use the wider size for ponytails and buns and the thinner size for braids. I have very fine, straight, soft hair that hair ties and clips just slip right out of. My hair is also damaged and breaks easily. These elastics stay in really well without having to wrap too tightly and they miraculously pull right out when I'm ready to take my hair down without snagging or pulling at all. They also never seem to wear out. If they do happen to get stretched out a little after I've used the same one for months on end I just run hot tap water over it for a moment and let it cool and it has bounced back to its original shape and elasticity. The only reason I ever have to replace them is because I lose them. If you have thicker or heavier hair you may want to double up.

This is the second time that I have ordered this product. The first time was about a year ago. There are five or six elastic bands in this package. I only use them when I do a messy bun, which is probably three a month.
These elastics are reusable!
They keep their shape very well.
Like I mentioned above it took about a year for me to go through the five or six that came in the package!
At first I didn’t think it was a very good deal. I thought it was too expensive for so little product, but seeing how long that they lasted, I am a believer!
I buy the little elastics from the grocery store and I only get one use out of them before they stretch out and break! I definitely recommend this product especially for a messy bun!

so I'm good for quite a while

They don't snag, don't pull, and don't catch on my hair. They also don't fall off even if I sleep with them on, though they will slide down my hair in that case.

While they probably aren't as durable as a full-on, thick-elastic-corded, felt-covered hair-binder, they definitely last a long time.

Somewhat regrettably, they do tend to stretch-out due to a need to twist-then-rewrap, but I've never had a single one snap on me -- they stretch out and maintain their strength even once they're WELL-beyond three-times their original length.

Assuming I ever need to get additional ones, I definitely will. If someone hadn't thrown out some of the ones from my original package because they were stretched-out (and to them, apparently looked no-longer-useful --__-- ) then I would still have all the ones from my first pack. As it is, I still have 7 of them, 2 unused, so I'm good for quite a while.

Bought them for my baby girl but these slide right off her fine hair. Tried them for my coarse hair and the fact that it does not have much elasticity (if any) makes it hard to use on my hair. I am not sure what I will end up doing with them. Not something I would repurchase.
