I'm not quite sure if my back pain has gotten better, but my alignment feels more comfortable when I'm sitting at my desk. My feet don't slip on the surface. I had been using a foldable plastic stool under my desk to rest my feet. What a big difference this footrest makes!! The top of it is not fixed but tilts in either direction supporting the angle of your feet on it. I highly recommend this product!!

The only imperfection is in the packaging and delivery of this product: it was delivered in its original manufacture box. The first time I received it, the bottom was broken during shipping and all the shattered pieces were in the box. So I had to order a 2nd time, and it arrived again in its original manufacture box. This time, the plastic tape was not completely sealing the opening of the box, and 2 metal rods fell out while I lifted the package and moved it inside my house. Thanks goodness I didn't lose the metal rods before it got to the house, or else I would not have been able to assemble it. Additionally, NO assembly instruction was included in the packaging. I had to google it.
