It really is helpful to have a charger that actually works. My phone is a few years old so doesn’t hold a charge like it used to so I am constantly needing to plug it in while driving. My last charger was plugged into the USB outlet in my car and would go up one percent every half hour if I was lucky- but only if I talked very nicely to it and didn’t look at. This little thing is powerful and super efficient. I can’t speak to its durability because I’ve only had it about a week but the amount of time it has already saved me is worth it’s weight in gold.

Wow! Nekteck support responded to my email within 20 minutes! In the evening! That's unheard of and something to remark about.

In my camper, I use the USB-C output of the Nekteck to charge my Jackery Power Bar AC Outlet Portable Laptop Charger, Jackery PowerBar 77Wh/20800mAh 85W (100W Max.) Travel Laptop Power Bank & External Battery Pack for MacBook, HP, Thinkpad, Notebook and other Laptops  that I also bought on Amazon. The Nekteck charger works great. I purchased it for the 45W charging through the USB-C port. That works very well, full power, as does the Quick Charge port.

My concern is with the blue power indicator. The power indicator is very hard to see, except for a very narrow angle, less than 5 degrees. I thought the light source should be closer to the hole in the case so you could see from any angle that the power is ON.

You can see from the Nekteck support response below that some people complain about power lights that are too bright. I can safely say for them that no one will complain about the light on this charger.

I landed here due to the very positive Wirecutter review. I am quite impressed with this charger. I do gig deliveries as part-time supplement income (Doordash, Uber, etc) so my phone has to be on all the time while I'm driving around, and those apps use a lot of battery. I need to keep my phone up and running, and sometimes it drains faster than a normal charger can keep up.

I bought a different charger that was supposed to be Qualcomm Quick 3.0 Charge compatible but it was USB-A only. "A" is limited to 12W and it just does not charge fast enough. You really need USB-C on both ends.

This Nektek charger is amazing for its price, and it comes with a USB C-to-C cable which is added value. And this thing charges fast! Even with multiple apps open, the battery charge goes up while I'm going from point A to B. Highly recommended.
