The Seattle Kraken have traded forward Alex Wennberg to the New York Rangers for a second-round draft pick in 2024 and a fourth-round pick in 2025. Seattle is retaining 50 percent of Wennberg’s salary in the trade.
The veteran second-line center can be trusted in all situations and in the faceoff circle. A first-round pick (No. 16) of the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2014, the 29-year-old has spent time in Columbus, Florida and Seattle over his 10-year NHL career.
