Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Lewis Dobbin from Everton for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old completed his move to Everton’s Premier League counterparts on Sunday.
Everton said in a statement that “everyone at the club would like to thank Lewis for his contribution, from his journey through our academy to senior team, and we wish him all the best for the future”.

The Athletic reported Dobbin had held positive talks over a move to Villa.
The 21-year-old made 15 first-team appearances for Sean Dyche’s side last season, but started just one Premier League match. He scored his first Everton goal as a substitute in the 2-0 league victory over Chelsea in December 2023.
Dobbin spent the 2022-23 season with Derby County, who were in League One at the time. He made 54 appearances and scored five goals across all competitions.
In a separate transaction between the clubs, Everton have completed the signing of Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam on a three-year deal.
