Virgil van Dijk is set to return to the Liverpool team for Sunday’s Anfield showdown with leaders Arsenal.
The Dutch defender missed the midweek stalemate at Chelsea due to illness with Joel Matip deputising at centre-back.
Thiago is also back in contention and could make his comeback after two months out with a hip flexor injury.
However, Jurgen Klopp believes Luis Diaz, who has not played since October, needs more time on the training field before being unleashed.

“Virgil, completely normal, he was back in training,” Klopp said.
“Luis and Thiago training completely normal too. The plan with Luis is that he will be available 100 per cent for Leeds (on April 17). Again, it looks good, everything is fine, but it was a long, long injury and so we have to be careful. We will probably not involve him for Sunday.

“Thiago looks slightly different. He was not out that long, trained now three or four times with the team and he might be available. But we have to check how he feels.”
Arsenal are 29 points ahead of Liverpool with Klopp full of admiration for the job Mikel Arteta is doing at the Emirates.
However, the north London side have not won at Anfield in the Premier League since September 2012 and despite their troubles, Klopp’s men have only been beaten once at home in the top flight this season.
“Mikel has been building this team for a few years now and the outcome is pretty impressive in terms of how they play,” Klopp added.
“Arsenal deserve to be where they are. Mikel deserved each minute he got there when it was not going incredibly well. Now the team is very well set up, good transfers, pretty stable team. It’s fun to watch. Super lively. Good match plans. Not exactly what you can say about us in this moment which says a lot about the situation.
“But it is Anfield. We are at home which is very important. It is no secret that the combination of our people, the ground and our boys is pretty good. But we can’t rely on it. We have to push the train in the moment and I have a very good feeling we can do that.”
