UCAS Tariff Calculator
Our handy UCAS Tariff points calculator will help to find out what grades you need to get onto your course.
Choose your course
Since the publication of our 2024 undergraduate prospectus in February 2023, some of the entry requirements for our degree courses have been revised.
Search for your course below to calculate the number of UCAS points that you need. You can then find out which qualifications and grades you need by using our UCAS Tariff Calculator.
NTU also make contextual offers to eligible applicants, and a lower offer may be made based on a range of factors. Find out more about how we make offers.
If you are an international student you can check our accepted international qualifications by country and our English language requirements.
Use the UCAS points calculator
Our UCAS Tariff calculator converts your qualifications and grades into a numerical value – these are UCAS Tariff points. We use Tariff points to calculate whether you meet the entry requirements for the course you’ve applied for, so it’s worth checking before you apply.
How to use the calculator
- Type your qualification into the box and select it from the list that appears.
- Enter the subject you're studying (this is optional).
- Select your predicted / achieved grade from the dropdown list - the UCAS Tariff points for this qualification will automatically be displayed.
- If you wish to add in more qualifications, enter the details and then click ‘Add’.
- Click 'Calculate my points total' to view an indicative UCAS Tariff points total.
