Subsidised bike hire for only £49 per year, with secure parking and bike services

For just £49, you can hire a bike for the whole academic year. All bikes are ready to ride, and come complete with lights, a good quality D-Lock, mudguards, rack, and servicing.

Discounted student travel for bus and tram

Nottingham City Transport (NCT) and NET — Nottingham offer an academic year bus pass to NTU students, just £289 for the 2023/24 academic year.

NTU students can also purchase the Trentbarton West Notts College Travel Pass for just £259 for the 2023/24 academic year. This offers unlimited bus travel across the majority of Nottingham and parts of Derbyshire, so is particularly useful to those who live in Mansfield or study at NTU Mansfield.

Mansfield students can get 30% off return tickets when travelling on the Stagecoach Pronto between Nottingham and Mansfield town with the production of a valid NTU ID card.

NTU also subsidises the night bus and the service to Brackenhurst, which ensures students studying at that campus do not pay higher bus prices than those in the City.

Free or discounted parking at our Brackenhurst, Mansfield and Clifton campuses

Students can park for free in the designated car parks at our Brackenhurst and Mansfield sites.

Students living outside NG14, together with those with extenuating circumstances, can apply for a permit to park on our Clifton Campus. There are a limited number of permits which are sold on a first come first served basis from the NTU Online Shop from the first week in September.
